Why barrels make the most sense outdoors here
A round shell sheds rain and condensation on its own — there is no flat roof for damp to sit on, and the staves tighten in one direction. Combine that with the open terrace and you get the whole sequence without a single square metre of indoor space: heat in the barrel, cold in the plunge, rest in Lembang air.
